It’s their tiny selves, their present cuteness translating to later beauty, it’s the enthusasim in their run, the kicks and bucks or twists and turns, the curious gleam in their eye – they don’t yet know we won’t play! It’s the way they peek around mom’s tail or out from under her belly, their prancing and dancing and joy of life. They grab my heart everytime.
