I’ve always, all through my life, saved a special part of my heart for horses. Any horse, anywhere has the power to make me stop and stare and appreciate.

My Pinterest pages abound with horse pictures and my collection continually grows.

But I had a thought – I can take my own photos and share them with you.

Prince Edward Island is the smallest Canadian province. I was amazed when I moved here – it seems every stretch of highway has pastures and barns. Harness racing is a staple here but pastures may have a standardbred, a quarter horse and a pony, all together.

Follow my progress across PEI in the pictures I publish and the stories I’ll tell. Watch for the movies – there’s nothing so deeply felt as when you are surrounded by buildings and traffic and you can hear a whinny and a snort, and see the grace of a horse in motion.
